Meet Ashleigh
Counsellor, Mentor and Neurodivergent Wellbeing Practitioner
Welcome. With over 5 years of running my own practice, I provide a compassionate and neuroaffirming safe space for you to explore your wellbeing and identity. I invite you to find a sense of authentic belonging in a world that wasn't always built with your brain in mind.

My Story
My journey into the world of neurodivergent wellness didn't follow a conventional path. My career was originally in the arts. In 2015, a young close family member was navigating their way through a diagnosis of autism; whilst learning how to support them, I discovered my own neurodivergence, and my whole life (including my career!) changed.
Â
As a neurodivergent person myself, I spent much of my life feeling like I was trying to read a map written in a language I didn't speak. I navigated spaces that weren't built for my brain, often leading to deep overwhelm and a profound sense of burnout. However, it was through this very struggle that I found my true calling. I discovered that my nervous system wasn't 'wrong' — it was simply processing the world with a depth and intensity that required its own unique set of tools and understanding.
Through years of study and personal integration, I developed a practice grounded in neurodiversity-affirming care. I have spent years learning to listen to the body's wisdom, honouring the unique rhythm of my own energy, and finding safety within my own skin. Today, I am passionate about guiding others on this same path. I believe that when we stop trying to 'fix' ourselves and start understanding our own unique neurologies, we open the door to a life of authentic belonging and sustainable wellbeing. My practice is a reflection of this lived experience, combined with clinical expertise, to provide a space where you are not just seen, but truly understood.
